1980 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42

BJ 42 - Diesel version of the 40 series Land Cruiser that was never sold new in the US. This is very rare in the US.
New Paint - stripped to bare metal and repainted inside and out. All rubber gaskets and window seals replaced.Seats have all be recovered.
3B 4cyl Diesel engine. This is the larger, more powerful version of the BJ diesel engine that has long been considered one of the most reliable, bullet proof engines, driven in places where your life depended on reliability. This engine starts very easily and runs easily. It is fine cruising at highway speeds or creeping up anything in the world!
This is right hand drive - it is far cooler than a normal left hand drive and very easy to drive. You get used to driving it very quickly and easily and it is fully legal to drive in the US. Always the coolest Land Cruiser because it is the clear safari look.
This BJ originated in the outback of Australia. I purchased it in the US and am not sure when it was imported. It has a clear Texas Title
