I searched long and hard to find a rust free original condition FJ40 once I had given up I found this one not to far from home. I'm the 3rd owner the previous owner bought it from the local Toyota dealer in 1976 and used it for local hunting trips he was a machinist by trade and enjoyed the truck. This has been a California truck since new and is very dry showing no signs of rust. Original motor and drive train.This truck is all original paint and has never been in an accident. I decided not to paint it in order to not hide any of its originality besides I appreciate the patina as it adds character.The truck has been converted to a soft top with all original hardware. I did however purchase a complete 2F motor from an 87 Land Cruiser I thought about installing it and does not come included with sale.It does need brakes as the rear right wheel cylinder is leaking I never did anything about because I considered doing the disc brake conversion.Truck has a clean title and is currently registered in California it also has personal California plates.
