1969 Subaru 360
Vintage 1969 Subaru 360 Deluxe 4 speed. Clean transferable registration. Bought from a dealer in Albany New York who had it on display in his showroom. 6746.9 Documented original miles. Tires have good tread. ( important because they are hard to acquire, but not impossible ) I have not done anything cosmetic to this vehicle yet, but rather have concentrated on mechanical issues first.Brake shoes have been relined, wheel cylinders have been rebuilt, and the hydraulic system flushed and refill with Dot 5 ( silicone brake fluid, a big issue with these cars ) Parking brake cables replaced, back up light switched repaired, ( manufactured because you can't find them ) and electric windshield wiper tank installed. ( same issue as back up light switch ) Every thing works as it should, etc lights, horn, wipers. Not really much to these cars, pretty plain jane, but highly collectable. This is the Deluxe model which means it's a 4 speed rather than 3 speed. But also has a radio! A very good candidate for complete restoration. This is my baby and I don't really want to sell, so it's important to me that someone can complete the restoration. And I would love to stay in touch and see photos of the completed restoration. Many after market parts can now be sourced at JDM-autoparts.com as well as here on Ebay. ( but not all ) Something that is a recent development and was not so when I started. Reason for selling is that I have family issues in the Ukraine and my mind is on these issues as a priority. Please take care of my baby! This is cross listed.
