1980 Subaru 1600 4x4 Rare!!
This is probably the nicest 1980 Subaru 4x4 1600 hatchback around. The car has better than normal wear and tear for a car of its age.Service records from new indicate regular maintenance and care. It appears that I am the third owner. The original owner sold it with roughly 90,000 miles.

The current mileage is 104,410. It runs great, extremely fun to drive and everything seems to work as it should. It has the reliable and cool sounding Boxer engine, manual transmission, ands switchable 4x4 mode. Recent repairs include:

Front brake pads and right front caliper

Front strut bar bushings, sway bar mounting bushings and left side outer tie rod

KYB gas struts and strut inserts

Alignment

Front Axles

V belts

The outside of the car is in good condition, a probably 7/10, and straight with just a few small dents in the body and one on the front bumper (see pictures), and small scratches with some that were touched up. See picture of rust spot on driver’s side door and running board.

The inside of the car is very nice as well, probably 8/10. There are a few cracks on the dash, and the shift knob was replaced, but everything else is near perfect. No radio at this time. The driver’s side seat belt shows wear. Left turn signal doesn’t cancel automatically.
