1979 Subaru 1600 GL

This 1979 Subaru 1600 Wagon is in great shape for its age. It is not in perfect condition but it starts right up every time and drives without any problems. To start off the engine is fitted with a custom twin carb setup, has aftermarket Accel 300+ digital ignition system with rev control, electric fan, electric fuel pump, new cap/rotor, spar plug wires and spark plugs with a recent oil change and good battery. If does have a oil leak I believe out of one valve cover. Odometer shows 44K miles it most likely has rolled over. The interior is mostly complete. The drivers seat is the worst part with tears and soft foam(not uncomfortable to sit in but you sink down a little). Headliner is in good shape. The dash is cracked. All gauges(speedometer, tach, temp and fuel) work. Heat, defrost and fan controls work as they should. I don’t believe the rear defrost works. No radio and the original key was lost so previous owner wired in a 2nd ignition that is under the original on, does not have a key for the door locks. Has cigarette charger along with usb charger and switch for electric engine fan all mounted in the dash. All doors work and shut as they should and rear seat is in great condition. The body has been painted white and purple, there is flaking clear coat and some rust spots on driver door and driver side passenger door. All exterior lights work. Has roof rack and rear spoiler.
