Price: US $30,000.00
Description:

1940 Studebaker Champion

Extremely rare 1940 Studebaker Champion gasser race car with an incredibly rich racing history and story. It has been coast to coast and is well documented. From California to New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Texas and Arizona where it currently resides. 10 second car which I believe places it in the B/G gasser class around 1965.
This one has ALL the goodies. All steel body, with a clean Arizona title. Can be driven on the street! Fresh red metallic flake paint job, must be seen in person to be appreciated! All the Livery is gone so it's ready for a clean fresh slate to continue on the way its previous owners dreamed it would.
“The Misfit” outlived 3 of its owners that I know of at 82 years young. Older photos shown are provided for historical reference and viewing pleasure.

Engine was freshened up. It was honed, square decked, bearings and so on. It has had very little run time following break-in and very little track time. It is ready for action.
