1955 Studebaker 2 ton standard

1955 Studebaker 2 ton truck. Elect hydrolic lift gate. 259 V8 4 barrel carb, 4 spd tranny, 2spd rear end . Engine was overhauled about 7 year ago has 6000 since overhaul. I average 12 mile a gallon and burns no oil. No oil leaks. Longest trip I made was 1200 miles. Only problem I had was a fuel punp failure. installed new one. truck runs and drives great.tight front end. i converted truck to 12 volt system. new alt. and big battery. truck is wired for second batt. all brakes and wheel cyclinders replaced. vacume booster replaced. frt tires 3 yrs old 2 inside duals new, out side are weather cheched but servicable. has typical studybaker rust spots but very repairable. has 20 fruof box. solid oak floor with winch attachment at front of box. elect hydrolic lift gate. works fine. has the dual studebaker tanks under cab. saddle tanks out back.new west coast mirrior and brakets installed. i start and drive the truck at least once a month. I have been using it for storage presently. would make a nice truck for advertizing. this truck came from factory with V8 I was told. I also have a flat bed for it.Truck has dual exhaust and glass packs installed. I have almost 5 grand in this truck. My reserve is very fair. Good running truck. I would drive it anywhere. Installed new water pump at the same time I converted to 12 volt system Radiator is great shape. New prussure cap. Could use some new wiring but still works.
