1973 Saab Sonett low miles runs and drives like it should. NO RUST. Recent refurbish to include NOS parts. Engine and transmission original and don’t seem to need a thing. Light glass repair before paint

The Sonetts have doubled in price over the last 6 months as sold here on EBay.

Sonetts will be harder to find in this condition few details needed to finish.

Engine:

43,000 miles on odometer, engine removed and the compartment de-rusted and brought back as new,

Rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, all silicone hoses, electronic ignition, new dual exhaust header pipe to L/R NOS mufflers, new motor mounts, new fuel lines,

Transmission:

Clutch p/plate bearing and bushing, turned flywheel, rebuilt hydraulics, all CV boots,

Suspension / steering / brakes:

ALL Metal blasted for POR 15:

NOS front spring to rubber mounts to include bumper stops, Monroe shocks, ball joints, original A arm bushings and wheel bearings, REAR trailing arm bushings and axle bushing, stop straps, Axle looks as new

Steering:

New rubber bellows, rod ends, aligned and drives straight.

Brakes:

Nos master cylinder, NOS calipers - brackets to include NOS springs, new rotors, REAR NOS springs, turned drum, shoes, slave cyl, all new brake lines with stainless hoses

Body Frame:

No rust, Interior floors as new, brake/clutch pedal assembly rebuilt,NOS rubber pedal pads, trunk is not detailed and has NOS rubber drain valves.

Interior:

Original interior no sagging head line,r medium to light blemishes, NOS speedometer cable. All around great shape.

Tires new (10 years ago) no dry rot or cracks.

Areas untouched or do not need work:

SPEEDOMETER NEEDS REBUILT

Dash, steering column, heater system, and electricals work fine. Extra head light bars, reinforced door frames plus other parts. Sway bar to install, 20-foot paint to include light fiber glass repair is all that is needed to bring the value to a good $14000.00.
