I bought this 944 in 2013. Its a really fun car. Handles better than anything I've ever driven. I kept it in a garage. I put a timing kit/ water pump on it once. About a year ago i was running about 100 and i heard the timing belt break and that was that. Got it towed home and it came loose on the tow truck and bent the plastic under the bumper. You can see it in the pics. I took the engine out and sure enough the valves are bent. The pistons and rods are fine. I'm a mechanic running my own shop and I really don't think I'll ever have the time to get this wonderful car back where she needs to be. The engine is out and i have all the parts. Every bolt is in a baggie marked what they go to. If you look at the pic of the plate in the door it has the originals owner's name. He was a doctor and took his wife on a trip to Germany. The toured the Porsche plant and she picked this car out at the plant and they had it shipped to the states. I hope someone gives her the love she deserves.
