I’m selling a few cars from my collection, have already let go of 4 over the past couple of years. This is a 2 year only car and the first year the 924 had a real Porsche engine, I’m sure if you’re looking at this AD you know all about these. The previous owner installed a bar to add seat belt harnesses and new Racing seats, a real Italian MOMO steering wheel was added and a new dash board was made for this. When I obtained it it had a few stickers, I removed all except the number 08 on the doors, everything behind the stickers is perfect. Apparently it was going to be used as a road course car. It has a set of extremely bright LED lights that are activated using a button on the shifter knob, the original pop up lights work just fine, this style setup is usually used in rally cars.
The previous owner did quite a bit of maintenance and had a few things replaced. The speedometer needle is broken therefore the odometer doesn’t work, I was informed that it was inoperable for several years and that a shop got it back up and running again and that it did not have more than 93k miles. There is a sensor tube that needs replaced to make the oil light come off, but oil pressure is perfect 50 psi at startup and stays 20+ at idle warm. I was able to track down a place in CA that will fix the speedometer needle. Everything else works great, shifts good, and the steering is extremely tight.

I have not buffed or waxed the car but I’m sure you can bring the shine out with some time, there are a few dings here and there but overall a very nice 1987 924S. The A/C was blowing cold, but is now just blowing, needs a recharge I’m sure. Please ask questions! Check out my feedback.
