This 1979 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 is a restomod. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.
Vehicle Details
1979 911 SC 3.0. Engine runs strong and runs & drives perfectly. $25k worth of mechanic work done back to 2009. Lots of recent upgrades done (since July 2023 / approx $7k worth). I enjoy the car but am wanting to get a 356. Nice driver quality car.
The fiberglass hardtop can be seen in the video. It’s very nice and a semi-permanent installation. I used a small amount of expanding foam to seal up the front when I installed it to prevent wind leaks. I didn’t plan to remove it, but it can be removed.
Small oil leak from one of the cam towers. No rust. Was repainted white at some point, paint is in pretty good shape with some touched up chips here and there.
AC compressor and coil that attaches to the dec-lid were removed for weight savings and since just a “nice day” weekend driver. I will include those parts with the sale.
I also have the original catalytic converter I’ll include.
Center console to be Included. Cruise control parts removed from the engine bay as the cruise didn’t work and for weight savings (didn’t try to diagnose why), parts will be included in the sale.
