Up for sale is a pristine 1981 Porsche 911 SC coupe in impeccable condition with low miles. The vehicle is finished in a unique paint to sample original color ofRacing Red (Rennrot L867) withChampagne leather interior. This vehicle was sold new through Atlas Porsche in Wilmington, California and remained in southern California for 40 years prior to being sold to dealerships in North Carolina and Georgia three years prior and has since been driven on sunny days only. The car is rust free and in immaculate shape with just under37,000 miles!
This 911 is powered by a 3.0 L flat-6 with a 915 5-speed manual transmission. The fuel injection includes the Bosch CIS K-Jetronic system. The fuel accumulator was replaced in October 2014. An engine overhaul was completed in 2005 that includes updating the timing chain assembly, replacing the head studs, adding pop-off valve, replacing piston rings, valve cover gaskets, cylinder head gaskets, spark plugs, and clutch. Service records and ownership timeline dating back to the 1980's are included.
