Vehicle Details

Beautiful 1965 Signal Red Porsche 911 Up for sale is my recently restored 1965 Porsche 911! It has undergone a rotisserie restoration and is in like new condition. Before that the vehicle was in storage in Southern Los Angeles since the 90s and was a California car for its entire life. Before the vehicle began its restoration the entire chassis was stripped to bare metal and sand blasted to remove undercoating. No major metal work or rust repair was needed to bring it back to its beauty and it is still sporting its original floor pans. All other body parts are original to the car with the doors baring the factory vin number stampings. After metal and body work the vehicle was subsequently painted in its original Signal red (code 6407) not the more typical polo red. When the vehicle was stripped down all factory hardware was sand blasted, tumbled and re-plated. All original suspension components were sand blasted and powder coated. All new Elephant Racing rubber bushings were used when rebuilding the suspension components and all new bearings were used throughout. The engine, only 9 numbers away from being numbers matching, was rebuilt to factory specifications by DNA Motorsports in San Diego. However, the original Solex carburetors were rebuilt by 356 Carb Rescue in Arizona. The numbers matching trans axle was also looked through by DNA Motorsports and received brand new syncros all around, while the Nadella axles were upgraded with Ford U-joints to make them bullet proof. The interior was finished in its optioned colors with the appropriate corduroy inserts and the rubber floor mats were replaced with concours correct reproductions. All of the instruments were rebuilt by Seattle Speedometer and function perfectly. If you have any questions about the car or would like to see more detailed pictures of any part of the car do not hesitate to ask. I have a extensive gallery of pictures of the exterior, interior and the undercarriage, as well as some of the restoration process.
