At 30 years old this year, this quality designed car still turns heads. It is hard to find such a refined sports car for the money. The motor purrs beautifully, pulls hard, and starts every time. The body is in good shape, a few little dings and the head lamp cover has a crack. Paint was done a few years ago when it was in a minor fender bender so its very glossy. The interior is showing its age, the headliner for the sunroof has a few tears, the carpets are faded, but the leather is solid. The clutch feels great, shifts nicely and the few times I've pushed it it shifted at 5500 with ease and thrust. I used this as a weekend cruiser, a few PCA events, and kept it in my garage. This is the third Porsche I have owned, a 1985 928S, 1977 911S, and now this 1993 968. I have to say, this 968 has been just delightful! Well balanced and quick but very manageable and consistent. Corners on rails and the 6 gears allow a wide range of power within reach. Just a joy to drive. I have a folder with a dozen or so receipts dating back a few owners to the late 90's.Tires are 2 years old, less than 5,000 miles on them.The alternator was the most recent item replaced in 2021.The timing belt and water pump was replaced at 83k miles.The belts and spark plugs were done at 94k miles.The radio and rear speakers were replaced by a previous owner, and I replaced the door speakers in 2022.
