Description:
1970 Porsche 911 Targa
If cars could talk, this one would have so much to say. This listing is for the tub of a very very rusty Porsche 911T. The only thing this vehicle has going for it is that I have a clean title for it, has both data plates (the one riveted on the front and the one on the A-pillar) as well as the correct vin number stamped in the steel on the tub. I am fully aware that this vehicle would never be restored.
To me the value is in the tin and title. The front clip is, for some reason, much better than the rear. Battery boxes are not rusted out and the suspension pan is more solid than a lot of other early 911 I have seen and worked on. Could possible use the front clip with some rust repair at the bottom of the A-pillars. I am willing to cut the front clip, build a pallet for it and ship it to you for a small fee
Can also deliver within a reasonable distance sometime this spring or early summer from Indianapolis, In.
The left side is completely gone all the way over to the tunnel. The targa bar mount is collapsed and also pretty rusty at the bottom.
It does have a mostly complete wiring harness in it, but make no guaranties as to what condition it is in. The fuse block has been removed.
Does include the quarter panels that have been chiseled off. Not by me. They are as rough as the rest of the car.
No suspension
No engine
No transmission
No gauges
No fuel tank
No oil tank
No brake system
No pedal assembly
Pretty much a tub with a partial wiring harness with a clean and clear title in my name.
