This 1984 Porsche 944 is finished in Platinum Metallic (LM8U) over a Brown interior and powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Features include color-matched Fuchs, Porsche script seats, cruise control, and more. The car was originally registered in July of 1986 in Minnesota until it was acquired by a dealer in 2018. In 2018 service included an inspection, oil change, and coolant flush as well as installation of a new fuel filter and spark plugs. The vehicle was then purchased by a local Porsche enthusiast in Indianapolis in August of 2019 and immediately had a new set of Falken Ziek 215/60/R15 tires fitted.
The vehicle was stored in our facilities through the winter and in March of 2020, the 944 was driven to Euro Motorworks in Indianapolis for a thorough inspection. The following services were completed:
New timing belts
Water pump
Rollers
Thermostat
Oil and filter change
New radiator fan switch
Reseal front of engine
Flush and renewed brake and clutch fluid
Replace driver side balance shaft seal
Vehicle shows light wear with previous paint work noted on the body as well as a small crack in the rear spoiler. The color matched Fuchs add a nice touch and the optional exterior side moldings break up the monotone livery. The interior is trimmed in brown leatherette with Porsche-script fabric inserts, and matching carpets are protected by branded floor mats. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, updated air conditioning to R134a, and an aftermarket Alpine stereo with hands free Bluetooth are featured. The previous dealer updated the door latch components prior prior to sale.
