Description:

1993 Porsche 968

Hello, I am selling my 1993 Porsche 968 coupe. I consider it a running and driving project car. I purchased the car in 2011 and I did a few odds and ends with maintenance - changed all fluids, performed full belt and roller service, new tires, and then I drove it from Michigan to Savannah GA, to the 2011 Porsche Parade. My plan was to restore the car over time, but I never really found the time - too many cars and too busy with work and life. It’s quite rare car with the M220 Limited Slip Differential option and M383 M387 Sport Seats. Recent oil change, a/c compressor, timing belt. I’m a long time PCA member and I own other Porsche cars.

It runs and drives fine and I would not hesitate to drive it home, but ideally you might want to trailer it. That being said, it has been sitting in my barn for 5+ years but I did change the oil, the timing belt and fix the a/c in April 2020. I did what I consider ‘the minimum’ to get it ready for the next buyer to get it home.

Items to note:

-I have not washed it in 5+ years

-Faded paint; its always been like this since I purchased it (with 157k miles).

-A few dings and dents throughout

-Cruise control does not work; does not hold the speed

-Drivers side top of door (black part) has a hole (black tape over it now)

-Driver side seat has a hole

-Passenger side sun visor clip broken

I’m including these new parts, all from Porsche:

-Oil filter

-Door handle rubber

-Door mirror rubber

-Brake sensors
