Running and driving rust-free project. Tires hold air. Starts, runs, and idles great, and accelerates with full power. Doesn't overheat. Power windows work. Has rolling clunk at highway speeds, along with vibration (guess: emergency brake- or brake-related). Yes, you can drive it home but it will be uncomfortable and dangerous due to nonworking horn, etc. From a ride perspective it actually feels quite solid and confident -- shifts don't jump around, brakes aren't too shabby, idle is great, clutch is strong, and it revs happily to redline. I drive it locally, with my longest trip about 30 miles up the freeway at 70mph.
I've registered this car and I am the private owner. In GA cars over 25 years old do NOT have a title (unless there is a clean in-Georgia trail), and this car is sold with registration history and bill of sale only. In addition, the mileage is True Mileage Unknown because of the age and mechanical odometer that rolls over to zero every 100,000 miles.
This is a project car, there's no denying it. It needs lots of bits and pieces that are missing including all sunroof hardware and power hardware, hatch locks and strikers, radio, steering wheel, and rear seat belts. Some of those parts are included.
It is obvious from the pictures that it has many needs including paint, interior upholstery, cracking dash, loose glovebox, and the missing accessories noted in the previous paragraph. Not visible in the pictures but also needed: key doesn't work exterior door locks, wipers don't move, power side mirror selector switch is missing but passenger side mirror does move under power, AC blower switch doesn't do anything. The heater blower switch *does* work, but only on high/low and no settings inbetween. The blend door likely is stuck open since hot air always comes out the vents.
