1989 Porsche 964 Carrera 4

1989.5 Type 964 Carrera 4. Always garage kept but not a garage queen. I have had this rocket since 2007.-In 2013 (at ~117,000 miles), I replaced the engine with a 1990 964 from LA Dismantler. Leak test was all less than 10%. The donor car had 88,000 miles on it. My odometer now reads over 131,000 so I have put about 14,000 miles on it with no issues.-It has Porsche Turbo 18" wheels. The tires are Federal SS595: Front 225/40r18 88w, Rear 265/35r18 93w. They have 5,157 miles on them. As you can see from the pictures the rims do have curb scratching (pic).
-Performance chip from 911Chips: 89-94 964 Performance Chip #964s-Fourth gear synchro is starting to go but will shift smoothly if the RPMs taper off some.-Sunroof will not retract. Sunroof motor is good it just had one side gear come loose on the movement mechanism.-Driver's side fog light and running light is out.-Passenger's seat does not move back electrically. Will with the manual mechanism in front of the seat. I do have the replacement switch that will be included.-Interior is all black leather. Driver's side seat is showing some wear (pic). Both inside and outside this car does not look like it is 29 years old!-Paint does have some blemishes and I tried to capture them in the photos.-Aftermarket Alpine Stereo with ipod/iphone usb jack.-Replaced all the speakers with newer ones and do not have the rear speaker covers for them.-Additionally I am throwing in a set of RUF Speedlines: Front 18"x8", Rear 18"x10" (pics)-Car cover from Pelican Parts.
This car is fast. The German's know how to distribute the horsepower. It just eats up corners. This car has been and is meant to be driven! This was my dream car and now it can be yours. It is time for someone else to get ear-to-ear smiles while driving this beauty. There is no substitute.
