1987 Porsche 944 - Fresh red paint, 5 speed manual, tires are good, engine runs well and is a blast to drive. 174,730 on the odemeter. Mechanics work well and is cosmetically solid. Clean title in hand. Registration paid recently with California plates and registration. Car has brand new "leather" seat covers installed and a custom center console and a new rear trunk seal with new gas hinges. Car has been smogged when I registered it in CA. 2 original Porsche keys with the cool color crests on them. Tires look good.
PERFECT candidate for the 944 LS swap! (If you don't know what that is, YouTube 944 LS Swap - people routinely drop Corvette LS motors in these).
944's are going up in price every day - these are fun, reliable cars that are easy to own and usually get well more than 20+ mpg.
Full disclosure:
Car used to be silver, repainted a couple of months ago. The paint cost me $1500. I bought the car after a night of tipsy ebaying (don't drink and buy, kids...) and had it professionally shipped from Idaho. Then I had it smogged, licensed and registered in CA. Odometer doesn't work, but I believe that is a recent event and mileage is representative of the cars use (fixing the odo involves one cheap plastic gear available online and a YouTube video - pretty easy fix). This car looks great, but it's not perfect. You can see imperfections in the paint up close. It still looks great. An amazing paint job would have cost a fortune, but this one is good and should hold up a while. If it was wetsanded/detailed the paint would be a show stopper. Simple and cheap process I havent done yet. The seats are covers, the originals are leather and they have some cosmetic tears. The originals are still underneath obviously but the seat covers make the interior look brand new. The dash has some cracks (all 944s do...) but this one has a cover over it so it looks super clean. I have an extra front spoiler you can have also. Small ding on the passenger side window casing. For 31 years old, it's in good shape.

I get thumbs up all the time driving this car. I've had Shelby's, Vettes, Tesla's, Porsche's and a lot of others - somehow I still love driving this 944. It will be a ton of fun for you and when you tire of it - it'll probably be worth more then you paid.
