This Super Wide Body Speedster is known as 'Black Betty' among other Speedster owners. This replica has all of the correct details down to the steering wheel, emblems, trim, lights and signals, and interior etc. A true tribute car. Factory built in 2008 by Vintage Speedsters in California.
It was Built on a 1973 VW pan and is registered as a 1973 VW. All body lines match perfectly with no gaps, or fitment issues. All doors, engine cover and boot open and close effortlessly. 1915cc Type 1 VW engine, 4 speed manual 3:88 Freeway Flyer transmission, Dual Weber carburetors, Electric fuel pump, Front disc brakes, Custom 17 inch offset polished wheels with powder coated spokes and polished lip. Engine starts on first crank every time. Great driver and was meticulously cared for and garaged by it's owner.
This Speedster is turn-key. It turns heads and receives praise everywhere it goes and is a joy to drive. Title is clear and in hand.
