Body Chassis: Hand laid hi quality polyester based fiberglass body. Custom monolithic wide body, lared 356 design. Shorten and seam welded original VW floor Pan. Reinforced with custom 3/8" thick Steel -B pillar support
plates. Single stage fire engine red, uPont paint. Suspension: Front; VW Ball joint torsion bar.
Modified Hi performance gas filled shocks. Rear; VW Torsion bar with competition camber compensation bar. Hi performance gas filled shocks. Braking: Front; Fast stopping 10.5" Disc brake rotors with large Piston calipers. Braided stainless steel brake hoses. Dual circuit 19mm manual brake master cylinder. Standard OEM rear brake drums to balance extra large tire patch. Wheels: Custom made 9"x17" aluminum rims, ully polished Tires: 225/40ZR17 Wynstar Exocet low profile tires. Engine: Top of the line Mofoco Type 1 Air-cooled VW motor. 1915cc Super low maintenance Hydraulic lifter Engine. Dual Weber Style Empi carbs, 4's with Fibersteel's exclusive solid bearing linkage kit. Full flow oil system with hidden (above trans) external oil cooler.. Fully automatic thermally controlled electric cooling fan. Custom hi volume 911 fan / alternator and shroud kit. Custom performance exhaust. Transmission: Rebuilt OEM VW Swing axle 4 speed manual Freeway flyer transmission. Racing front and rear transmission bracing. Rock solid speed shift lever upgrade. New Sach 200mm pressure plate and disc. Interior: All New Fibersteel Outlaw Speedster seats with custom drop down, ouble locking seat frames, pecial order authentic Scottish plaid inserts. Molded seat foam with individually controlled hi/low internal seat heaters. German wool square weave charcoal carpet with sound detaining padding. Aluminum pedal covers. Hidden under dash led lights (white courtesy, red fighter pilot mood lights) Top: Custom made fully articulating convertible top.
This top folds open and close just like a real Speedster. New German Hartz Stayfast canvas top. Matching top boot cover. Custom Green Glass Solid Plexiglas side windows. Extras: Fully detailed front trunk area. Matching German wool carpet. Lined and covered fuel tank and inner hood. 356 Style rubber trunk liner and battery cover. Large Lucas fog lights. 356 GT bumper deco.
3" Wide, uick release racing seat belts. Although this is not a new build, e have basically rebuilt and improved this entire car to standards that were never originally used. Our many upgrades both listed and many too minuet to list are what set this car apart from other 356 Speedster replicas. This very special and unique restoration is a "One of a kind" you will be proud to show and enjoy driving.
