Chassis 127641 left the Factory in the beautiful color of Sky Blue (Color Code 6403), when was the last time you saw a 356 in Sky Blue? It retains it's original engine number 820416 and also retains the original black leather front seats, both of which can be verified by the scan of the Factory Kardex. Restoration has been started with a new battery box and partial floor replacement. While the work has started there will be more metal work to be done before this car shines again. Please look at some of the underside pics to see some examples of further rust repair needed. The car is mostly complete though there will probably be a few pieces you will have to pick up along the way, if you don't see it in the pictures it isn't included. Seriously, when this car is finished and pulls up at the Porsche event, how many other Sky Blue SC's will there be? The SC engine turns over nicely by hand. The SC was the finest refinement of the 356, disc brakes and the flawless SC motor, you will not get a better riding 356 than an SC Coupe. Finding one with it's original motor and in such restorable condition is getting increasingly harder.Don't miss out!
