1970 Porsche 911

Original Southern California car ordered by a family member of the actor Mel Ferrer and Actress Katherine Hepburn.Female ownerfrom1970 - 2012. The car was parked on a street,someone clipped the rear corner whileturn a corner. The owner did not have classic car insurance, the standardcarrier chose not to fixthe very fixabledamage and wrote it as a total loss. By now the owner in her 70's decided to move on. I took onthe taskto make it right again andproceeded with the following:

Please note the carstipped down to the metal. Look closely at the bottom of the fenders and door etc, Zero rust. It was the painted with the original factory Glasurit pint, yes, it is the factory burgundycolor.Just about every seal has been replaced, new carpet, all window trim, rocker trim and engine lid trimwere shipped to WI to a 30 year trimspecialist straightened polished. The dash was restored by one of four companies in the US that property usesa vacuum seal process that allows for the a flawless presentation. All seat, door panels, gauges are original so somehints of wearyet all original. New bumper ends, new turn indicator lenses, new tail light lenses. The rims were taken to a shop that only restores Porsche rims. There they were restored and polished.

Mechanically, the car is sound. You can get in this car and drive it all day long. The engine was serviced by the previous owner with 6000 dollarsofreceipts andapproximately14,000 milessince then. The engine transmission drive free of any issues.My German bornmechanic recently noted how wellthis car drove.I had theoriginal Solex Carburatorsdisassembledand cleaned. I will say they are moodyoccasionally andsometimes give a bit of a kick The floorsare very solid as you car se3e in the photo.

Attention needed areas:The engine bay nor trunk were painted.A reardefrost switch is needed, speedo doesn't work,trim on driver door is loose, light switch nob.
