Vehicle Details1971 Pontiac real 242 GTO, I dont believe its a 455 ho car. This car is a non matching 455 code is YA 4bbl 4 speed, the engine has had work done such as cam, rockers, electric fuel pump and headers. I bought the car with intention of restoring,, its been in a approx. 10 yr storage. I have projects Im selling to move on. When takin out of storage I charged the battery, put fresh fuel in it and in runs well,goes thru the gears fine, and is not all over the road. I believe it was repainted abot 30 yrs ago, and shines up great, it has signs of some rust thats visible in pics. It will need a trunk pan patch or replace. car is great looking as you see in pics, chrome is good, glass is good.This car will make a great restore, or drive and enjoy as you restore. It would benefit from 2 new front seat cover, and needs a headliner. It has a new dash cap on it. Speedo shows 89000 mile, and does work.
