1978 Pontiac Firebird Redbird

NO RESERVE AUCTION: Long time stored from a private collection. 1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit RPO-W68 "Redbird" - 305, AT, PDB, PS, PW, AC, Factory AM-FM, Formula steering wheel, spoiler, color keyed snowflake wheels. The Redbird line started in 1978 to rival the "Bluebird" line. All 1978 Redbirds were painted (72) Roman Red with Gold pinstriping and accents, coupled with Carmine interior again with gold accents, and matching red snowflake wheels. The car has no rust and is in very good cosmetic condition both inside and out. No rust or dents in the body and frame. The front clip portion appears to have been at least, partially resprayed at some point. The interior is in great condition, no rips or tears in the upholstery with a clean uncracked dash pad.
The engine seems to lack power, but all 305's are that way to me. The T350 transmission shifts fine, but leaks which was discovered after pulling it from it's long hibernation. I replaced the battery and the fuel and it starts, runs, and drives. A thorough once over will be required before it can return to be a reliable transportation option. It has a clear Montana title in my company name.
