1978 Pontiac Firebird

My baby is going up for sale.Been restoringit for awhileand struggled to decide to let go or finish the project. This is an Esprit, originally a Bluebird, all original drivetrain, and have the build sheet. Will attach a picture of VIN plate when I get a chance. Yes, it's theSmokey and theBandit year.
As far as drivetrain goes:Chevy 350 smallblock V8 5.7L with Edelbrock Performer manifold and 1400 cfm carburetor. Rebuilt turbo TH350 transmission; put stronger planetary gearset in. Edelbrock valve covers. Original Rally wheels and tires approx. 1-2 years old, not a lot of miles on them.
For body and interior:Was planning to do burgundy interior and either silver or grey body. Interior trim is all taken out, and stored in the garage.Refurbished and painted some pieces, but bough newones for the bigger pieces aka rear side panels, sail panels, kick panels.Dash and tunnel are both painted and installed, the color looks really good. Most of the chrome is in great condition, will need one or two wheel arch accents. Rear glass and door windows are good, needs a windshield eventually. Body has been sanded down all the way to metal and primed. One spot has been patched, one still needs it, rest of the body is in very good condition. Other extras: Grant steering wheel and Pioneer radio/speakers. Installed the radio in the mappocket, easyto remove if you want to and original is still there.
Everything works and too much to list. My dad and I have been restoring this car since high school. Have tons of receipts and paperwork. Just took it off non op and renewed registration through 2017 in CA with plans of getting it painted. Water pump just went out, so I parked it in the garage and am now having to debate selling my motorcycle or this.
Asking $4000 but for CA buyers, am willing to entertain trades for another vehicle, jet skis, etc. Just look up the Mecum auction, Barrett Jackson, EBay, and even craigslist to see the value of these cars when they're finished. Good luck!
