Restomod rare z code car, ws6 ca, w72 Pontiac 6., has original Pontiac 400 engine, has butler performance 467 stroker kit, fully balanced rotating assembly, .065 over Ross Forged full floating pistons, Forged eagle hbeam rods, eagle crank with 4.25 inch stroke, with viton silicone rear main seal, ram air iv cam, mellings 80psi oil pump, rocker arm poly-locks, new harmonic balancer, comp cams double roller timing chain, Elgin 232 @50 and 480 lift camshaft, new timing cover, new egr valve, new motor mounts, new transmission mount, all new hoses and belts, new ARP bolts through out the engine, almost every nut and bolt has been replaced, full msd ignition system
cap, rotor, msd plug wires, msd blaster coil, msd6al ignition/rev limiter, ceramic coated factory reproduction ram air iv headers exhaust manifold, 3inch exhaust system with xpipe, and pypes chrome 3inch splitters, all mobil 1 fluids, 250amp
custom alternator with heavier gauge wiring, 2 spal electric fans behind radiator, and 2 auxiliary electric fans mounted up front of radiator, champion 4 core aluminum radiator. Intake, heads, and exhaust manifolds have been port matched, 2 high flow fuel pumps 1 mechanical, and 1 electric, 4 speed manual has been upgraded to a stronger close ratio tremic tkx 5 speed manual with a center force dual friction clutch, and a short throw shiffter, original 3.23 10 bolt posi, full polyurthane bushings through out the whole suspension even the body to frame mounts are polyurthane, new kyb shocks, new upper and lower control arm bushing, new rear leaf springs bushings, new sway bar bushings, new ball joints, rag joint, center link, idle arm, tie rod ends, new wheel alignment, 6 pistons wilwood front brakes 12 inch rotors, steel braided brake lines, 4 piston wilwoods brakes on the rear, 18x9.5 rear riddler rim, 18x8 riddler rims front, sumitomo 265-40-18 tires on the rear, 245-45-18 on the front with a Y speed rating of 186mph, all new wheather stripping everywhere, interior has baseball stiching throughout the whole interior, new carpet, new door sill's, new sound deadening material, new brake and clutch pedal bushings, new accelerator cable, restored clutch linkage, new wiring, original custom factory radio converted to bluetooth, rockford frostgate speakers and 700 watts blaupuntk Amplifier, new AC compressor r134a conversion, new high flow water pump, new power steering pump, new starter, new master cylinder, new gas tank/ new sending unit, new fuel lines remanufactured Original 800cfm carburetor has been rejetted for to compensate for increase in displacement and larger than stock camshaft, Spectre air filter by K&N, new heater fan motor, estimated horsepower 600hp at the crank, all new paint, this restomod was built by LA Mobile Mechanic, 340 s lemon ave walnut california, all suspension, mechanical, electrical, body work and paint has been completed, the build took 2 years to complete approx. 2000 hours @ $80per hour for labor plus parts, waiting to install hood bird and decals when paint has cured in 90days, thanks for looking at my Z -Code trans-am a dream in progress, there were 2485 non t-top z- code trans am produced in 1979 so it's a low production rare vehicle, yeah I forgot mention that it's fast, and it's the real deal. and there was other things done which I did not mention and more photos are available of the restoration that was done on the car, the car drives, and feels better now than when it first left the factory it's probably about the most fun you could have with your clothes on, and if you don't have any speeding tickets you can get some with this vehicle.
