1978 Pontiac Grand Prix

Up for bids is my 1978 Grand Prix 'LJ'. This is a rust free Palm Springs California car. It shows 101,000 miles and is a 305 V-8 car. Pretty standard options of power windows and locks, cruise and tilt. "LJ' package. The paint is faded down from the desert sun. The car has newer tires and drives great. The original turbo 200 transmission is weak and they are not worth rebuilding. I have a rebuilt turbo 350 and new torque converter ready to be installed. That will be done this week and the car will be sold with that rebuilt transmission. I am also going to replace the heater core. The air compressor turns but there is no belt on it. So, the condition of the air conditioning is unknown.I had originally planned to do an 'LS' swap on the car. Instead, due to my age and the fact that I am moving to Minnesota I reluctantly have decided to sell the car. For what it's worth the car does have a sort of celebrity background as it was owned and bought new in Palm Springs by a famous French fashion model. The car can be driven anywhere just as it is or it would be an ideal candidate to restore as the body is so nice. I will be happy to send undercarriage pictures or other pictures on request.
