Car is a rocket ship when wanted but also a very nice easy driving street cruiser. Goat cruises down the interstate at 80 mph with one hand on steering wheel at 2700 RPM effortlessly. Suspension is adjustable and rides like a brand new car. Car is beautiful and attracts a TON of attention. Car doesn’t see rain or a chance of it. Always garaged and cleaned after each use or cleaned just for fun.
GTO started restoration at approximately 43K miles, now shows 5,400 since restoration completed in 2006. TCI transmission shifts firm and right and is dialed in. Has TCI disk and cord to change tunes. Sanden Air is ice cold, heat works great. Car is super clean over and under. Doug’s Headers even though 14 years old look like day 1. This car makes a statement. You will not find another 1970 GTO of this caliber. Not a car for a novice driver. This Pontiac will run with anything on the street. Never tracked or spun tires from an idle. Don’t want to throw rocks on the quarters. But will light up both easily when leaned into at 40 mph.
