1949 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Sedan Coupe. Straight Eight mated to the 4 speed Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission. Lots of options: Radio, turn signals, back up lamps, under seat heater, lighted hood ornament, end and center bumper guards, fender skirts, deluxe wheel covers, trunk, glove box, dome, under hood lamps, day-night rear view mirror, optional tire size 7.60X15 "BF Goodrich Silvertown" exterior sun visor, gas door guard, dual exterior mirrors, exhaust tip .Previous owner purchased it in 1990 with 38K original miles from an older gentleman. He said it had a few scrapes and dents, no rust. He had it repaired and refinished. Appears to have been wet sanded and highly polished at some point. Shows well, great shine. Some very minor imperfections due to age. Appears to be all original body panels, Solid floors and body mounts. No rust issues. All chrome replated or replaced if needed. Rest of bright trim replaced or polished as needed. New step plates. Original interior in very good condition. Newer carpet. Engine and trunk compartment original. Gas gauge not working.
