1968 GTO Convertible 428 4-Speed Red on Red-Project Pontiac Car

1968 Pontiac GTO

PHS Documented Red/Red/Black GTO convertible. Options were Safe t track posi, 4 speed, AM radio rear seat speaker, Rally gauges. console, power steering, ride and handling package. Car currently has a YL with 46 heads 1968 ( I believe) 428 motor that is not locked up- had it to a shop and they said it spun for them, four speed in it is an M-21 as far as I can tell due to B code on it. Driveshaft is sitting between the seats. Car needs a lot of attention. I noticed some frame rot with some holes about 6 inches-9 inches in front of the rear wheels, but I honestly think the frame is savable with some welding, didn't look terrible. Motor is complete including an aftermarket edelbrock intake and a big old holley. Please bring a winch when you come. The tires on the car are to another car I own, and I will be keeping them, so bring some rollers if you can when you retrieve it. Or we can work something out for additional $$. This car is not an original hideaway car, but it looks like the cans and air hoses are in the bumper. This car needs some attention and is sold as-is. I do not know how many red on red cars there were out there, but there can't be too many. By the way, the drivers quarter was glassed, and that was done all the way into the outer/inner, and the trunk will need a new pan. I am not able to see the floor pans, other than a cursery check but they probably need some work as well. I doubt they are all rotted out, just probably need some work, depending on your level of restoration. Check out my other items. I will not assist in loading of the car, that is entirely up to you and your agent. I have a major back and neck problem ATM, and am fairly useless in regards to anything even remotely physical....Mileage shows 23866, and I assume it is 123866....
