I am Selling my 1968 Firebird Convertible This is a Project Bird. It needs some floor section panel work on the inside floors but Trunk floor is there with surface rusting and decent body to work with and Solid Rockers and good sub frames and hood windshield cowl area also decent rear Tailpanel. All wiring is still there in place. The convertible Manual top frame of this Bird is pretty bad on some previous Poor repairs! This bird is not for the person that does not do their work themselves. A good starting foundation! The good parts are an Original GM Used 400 hood and decent pair of fenders/doors/trunk lid/valance panel/wells. The interior is bad and missing door panels and the rear panels were poor also seats are very Rough. I have the Bird's PHS docs and came back as a 350 Ci with 4 speed and open 10 bolt 3:08 rear and is a Mayfair Maze Code Y-2 and a 259 Black bucket seat floor console Custom door panel interior. This is a power steering drum brake bird.. The original 350ci motor is long gone. But This sale is coming with a good Standard bore Used 1970 400 YD motor for rebuild and a 4 speed Saginaw Transmission with an Original used Bell housing/Fork/Flywheel/Driveshaft/Zbar/Throw Rod/Pedals/Console plus I have some Brand New parts such as a partial rear drivers side quarter panel/Interior black Carpet/A front and rear seat covers/ Dash pad that is installed/ front firebird fender emblems and 400 hood emblems/Hood hinges and Springs/ Convertible top frame seal moldings/Front Springs. Also comes with a matching set of HM 4 Rally II 15” Rims and a pair of 4 tube Headers. This bird came with a manual floor console and bucket seats which are with the sale. The cocktail Shakers are still in place and the rear shock areas are solid. The front Grills/Radiator/Parking Lenses are missing! Again this is a Project Bird! Not for the weak at Heart but a good one with a bunch of potential. I am asking $7500 or Best reasonable offer. If you need transporting I do have a person that runs the east Coast and goes to mid states also. He is a one man show and is a owner/operator that is licensed and insured!
