1969 Pontiac GTO --

Nothing will take you back to 1969 like jumping into this real deal GTO, firing up the engine, popping a tape into the 8-track player and blasting off down the street! This car looks great, runs strong, and is a ton of fun to drive. Check it out. This car is presented in a fresh recoat of its original Carousel Red paint. As a nod to a special GTO, The Judge, (which was offered only in Carousel... Red at first), this car has a stripe which runs along the upper body line from the front fender to just past the door. Up front the body colored front bumper frames a black mesh grill flanked by quad headlights, is trimmed with chrome piping, and has a bold GTO emblem. The hood flares back from the center to the dual intakes of the Ram Air hood that feeds the beast within. A Tachometer hides within the bump on the hood so that when the pressure is on, the driver can keep their eyes on the track and watch their shift points instead of looking down at a gauge. The roofline of the car flows smoothly down to the trunk and over the wing perched on top of it for some needed downforce at speed. A sharp looking chrome rear bumper and Rally wheels complete the picture nicely. Open the door and you will find a nicely restored Black interior in like new condition. Like the paint, this is also the factory original color the car was delivered with. A simple door panel has tasteful chrome piping adding a splash of flash to it. The pattern is echoed in the stitching of the vinyl seats both front and rear for a very sharp look. A three-spoke steering wheel sits in front of a black dash with the speedometer and engine gauges which is underlined by a wood tone panel containing the controls for the lights, wipers, and a radio. The center console is also trimmed in wood and holds not only the Hurst shifter for the automatic transmission, but also a working 8-Track player for your retro listening pleasure. The back of the console is a nice storage compartment/armrest, and the carpets are protected by vinyl floormats with Pontiac arrow emblems on them. Open the hood and you will find a very nicely detailed stock engine bay with a 400 cubic inch engine nestled down inside. A polished air topper has the proper decal announcing the 400 4-barrel motor. The engine is painted the correct Pontiac Blue paint and boy does it look good! The intake is stock as are the cylinder heads that are topped by chrome valve covers. Long tube headers wind their way out the bottom to a Flowmaster exhaust and make this car sound sweet! New belts, hoses and ignition components assure reliability. A new master cylinder and power brake booster clamping front disc brakes insure that you can haul this car down from speed after you let the horses run. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic to the rear wheels and new chassis components throughout include new bushings as well as a front sway bar to help it handle the curves. This is a real deal GTO 400. It looks great, runs strong, and will attract attention wherever you drive it. Come on down and check it out.
