For sale by the second owner; a 1984 (Build date 5/84) Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. A true survivor! Original paint and interior, 117k original miles, all original down to the AM/FM/Cassette stereo!
This car is equipped with:
L69 V8 305ci 5.0Ltr Engine 190hp functional cold air intake
8000 RPM tachometer (6,200 rpm redline) an 80 PSI oil pressure gauge, a high output single electric fan, a functional cold-air induction hood, a higher output mechanical fuel pump, and a secondary electric fuel pump to help prevent vapor lock. It also has a lightweight flywheel and an aluminum bellhousing.

WS6 performance package. This was the ultimate for any Firebird and included substantially larger sway bars, 32mm front and 23mm rear, compared to 28 mm and 21 mm, respectively. The package also includes a 12.7:1 steering box and four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes. Out back is a set of 3.73 gears in a limited-slip differential.

Total production for Firebird models increased to 128,304 units, making this the best-selling year of the 3rd Generation Firebird. This translates to good availability for spare parts.
Runs and drives well, but will need a transmission fluid change and some attention to the front brakes as the car pulls to the right when braking and shifting isn't as smooth as it could be. Timing belt, alternator and water pump have been replaced recently. No apparent leaking of any fluids
The body is very straight ground effects in nice shape, not broken or cracked, with one door ding on the passenger door measuring about 4 inches long. The paint is in very good shape overall and shines up nicely, there are a few typical dings and scratches, but shows well at 10 feet. There is a bit of a blemish on the paint on the roof and front bumper (pictured). Wheels are in great shape overall with only minor wear. Tires have good tread on them and are in decent shape overall. If I were to drive this car a very long distance, I would probably replace them just to be safe. All lenses are in good shape as well, nothing sun rotted or cracking. Appears to need a headlight.
Engine bay is tidy overall but might do with a good cleanup. Painting the airbox would help make it pop as well.
Interior is in excellent shape overall, all seats are very nice with the driver's seat needing some attention, as shown. It can certainly be repaired by a competent upholstery shop if you want to keep it totally original. Door panels and dash pocket are all excellent, headliner is excellent, carpets could use a bit of a cleaning, but are in nice shape with no major stains. Dash cluster & center console are in nice shape as well. Comes with original cargo privacy shade for hatch in excellent shape. Original spare and jack kit are included.
Car is loaded with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, power driver seat. All function as they should as well as signals, dash light and warning lights (no check engine light), all gauges work well (charging system works well, great oil pressure, gas gauge works fine as does temp gauge with no overheating) Odometer and tach, pop up headlights which come up at the same time, wipers work fine, horn works, parking brake holds, blower (air conditioner seems functional but may need a charge). Radio may need some attention as it has power but no music. It might be operator error on my part.
