58 Pontiac Chieftan Convertible. Rust free Southwest desert car. Runs looks and drives very well. Has new gangster whitewall tires, new convertible top material, new convertible pump assembly, new convertible lift cylinders, new convertible top switch. Just tuned and serviced and runs and drives very well. Very rare car that always draws a crowd every where that it goes. Was painted about 20 years ago but still shines well, and looks very good.. However has a few chips and imperfections from normal driving. Remember this is a New Mexico dry rust free car. Has factory equipped 6.1 370 cubic inch 240 horse V8 and also came equipped with the factory equipped Super Hydra-matic transmission which shifts and drives well. !958 was the last of the era with the last Chieftans made being replaced by the Catalina. Car also came from the factory with power steering, and power brakes with power treddle vac. Has brand new manual brake master cylinder,however comes with the original master and power treddle vac that the new owner can send out for a rebuild if he wants. Also comes with another set of front fender moldings as 2nd owner put 2 small screws through the original moldings. Car must be seen and driven to be appreciated.
