Up for sale is my elderly uncles 1958 Pontiac Chieftan that he is selling due to his age and a pending move. He purchased the car in 1993, drove it 3-4 years, had it repainted
and put in his garage, where it remained until two weeks ago. Last titled in 1996. We pulled it out, washed and cleaned for photos and is now ready for sale. This 1958 Chieftan has the V8 engine with auto transmission, no power brakes or steering. Car appears to be 100% complete with some parts that were not reinstalled after painting, but are there. Only thing not original is the repaint which has a slightly bluer tint. Chrome also appears original and in quite good codition considering age of car. Interior cloth shows very well with exception of coffee stain on rear seat. Said he never tried to get it out. Headliner appears also to be new. Day after I took photos, he got a new battery and had starter rebuilt and it now starts right up. He is going to have the carb rebuilt as it tends to get too much gas. Brakes are also in working order. The body on the vehicle appears to be very solid with no rust on panels, wheel wells, rockers, floor pans etc. Vehicle is located near Milwaukee, WI.
