Car is very presentable and functional driver.I have enjoyed owning the car for the last 8 years, but would like to find a Black Trans Am Y82.The car is clean, gets a lot of attention, and is reliable and fun to drive.There are no major cosmetic defects and the car runs, drives and handles very well.There are no pressing issues or anything that the car needs in order to own or use.Notes about the car's condition:
Seatbelts are new regular interior style, not correct for Lombardy interior.Original seatbelts are with the car in case the owner would like to restore concourse.
Car has nice tan vinyl interior, but not Lombardy velour as it should.
Car has the typical crack in the dash and has a dash cap and pad to hide.
Gold instrument bezel is faded in the usual way.
The water temperature gauge does not work.
The speedometer reads 56 at 60mph.
T-tops are in very good condition.
The blacked-out stainless trim has been recently painted and looks very good.
There are a few small nicks in the paint from normal use, but no dings or dents.
Paint color is close to original Gold Special Edition color, but is not exact.You can see this in the door jambs.
The motor is in original build condition, except for an Edelbrock carburetor.The motor is probably not numbers matching, but appears to be correct for the car.This is a W72 car with a W72 motor.
Window glass is in pretty good condition, with no chips or cracks, but a few scratches.Power windows work.
Original 8-track is with car, but car has a functional cd player stereo.
Car drives and handles well.Installed new ball-joints, bushings, springs, shocks and steering gearbox several years ago.
The AC and heat function well, but the fan speed switch cuts the system off when placed in the highest position.
Interior and exterior lights work.
Selling because I am going to buy a Y82 in the future.
