Options include the WS-6 package with the upgraded performance suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes. The car has T-tops, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt steering wheel, Turbo 4.9 Litre V8, Posi-traction rear end, Turbo Bulge hood, Special edition striping and two tone white and charcoal paint, Red face gauges, Cruise Control, and Power door locks.In 1980, The Trans am was chosen to pace the Indianapolis 500 Race of 1980. The 1980 Trans am Pace car was the least modified pace car at that time. Pontiac only had to change the rear end gears to be all set to pace the race!
This particular Trans am is a good original example. The car still retains the original spare tire and jack. The car has mostly original paint. The interior is all original. In fact, the car still retains the original floor mats. The car runs, rides and stop very well, as you would expect from an original well kept car.
