1967 Pontiac Safari Station Wagon
1967 Pontiac Catalina
One owner from new till about 2014. Videos posted on youtube at this time were takenyesterday morning. I will add photos soon, videos show the car well. You tube 1967 Pontiac Catalina station wagon Boise... should be three of the wagon.
California Car.. not the kind with pitting on the chrome or a coast car.. Its extremely dry and clean and crisp...its hard ...very hard to find cars in this condition... especially wagons. I would be surprised if there is another catalina wagon in this condition this year with these options in existence. The colors help.. its not brown, or gold, or tan or green... Red and White kind of got me on this one.
67 is not my favorite year. 64 is.. I'm selling this and some other vehicles because I found a couple 64 Pontiacs I would rather have...that, is why - its for sale.
I will add better pics of paperwork, which shows how it was ordered, which matches the original window sticker. Not a plain old lot car... Headrest, 8 lug wheels, Transistor Ignition, Air Pump for rear shocks, A/C, Tilt, Cruise, Rear Deflector, and no cloth on seats, and gauges in spedo cluster..
The plates that came on the car from day one, are on it. The plate frames from the dealer, are on it.
The paint is weak in some areas, but I wouldn't let a drop of paint near this car... that would devalue it in my opinion...it gets an amazing amount of attention just as it is... why spend a bunch of money and take away its original status... I think the front right fender and or drivers door were spotted in at some time.
The rear power window works fine, spare and jack are complete, and rear cargo area and area under tailgate flap are simply as good as NEW... I mean NEW.
All the doors open and close nice and solid. Hood as well. It doesn't smoke tick or knock. That means it doesn't smoke when you start it... nope.
The brakes are smooth and stop the car evenly without pulsating or pulling ... not at all.
Tires are in very good shape, no cracking etc. and good tread.
Exhaust is quiet and no leaks.
Radio, wipers, lights, signals, ac blows cold.. yes, when it was 99 or so this summer, it blew VERY COLD. I don't think the heater is putting out hot heat, but will check into this... cant be a big deal.
Glass is all excellent.
Chrome is not pitted or hazing.
Front valence hasa bend in it...front right fender has crease at trim line-nobody notices or cares.
Scratches are likely on every panel, its a 1967 ... 50 years old... but again.. any imperfection on it, so me, adds to its originality.. doesn't take anything away from it.
if you buy this, make a deposit of $500 at the time you buy it. DO NOT DO IT LATER. Pay for the car now, not later, not when you pick it up... and tire kick when you come to knock the price and hold my feedback hostage....that's not cool.. had people that in the past... I will have the car at the airport if you want to fly in and drive it home... It will drive home to anywhere you want..no mechanical issues at all... NONE.
I will deliver to coast to coast auto transport in Kuna Idaho, who will likely be a better price and service than anyone you can find.. local owner and operated trucks.. NICE.
I will be selling this wagon. If you have to have it and are willing to pay for it, feel free to email me and make an offer, I will end the auction early if the number you offer is good enough the day and time you make it.. I like to sell things now, instant gratification, and knowing it will be paid for has value.. if it ends, and then the buyer backs out, it makes it look like a fake auction and can devalue the car.. so that is one reason why I will end listing early.
