Extremely Rare 1962 Pontiac Tempest Wagon – Very complete right down to the original hubcaps. Interior is complete with the exception of carpet, one sun visor and the rear hatch panel. Body very straight – No major rust – No rust in gutters – no rust through in floorboards -- Doors open and close crisp and tight -- Windows roll up and down properly – Wind shield, side glass and rear glass are excellent, wing windows have minor bubbling. Engine is known as the Pontiac Trophy 4 – This one came equipped with a rare 4bbl carb and 10.5 to 1 compression. – Engine doesn’t turn over. It is backed by a 2 speed power glide transaxle – similar to the Corvair auto transaxle. I also have a good running Aluminum 215 cu V8 that could come with the car (the 215 cu V8 was a very rare engine option for this car in 1962) This very solid, complete, and original west coast classic is prime for restoration. Clear title in hand.
