1964 Lemans GTO Convertible project. PHS says this car started its life as a 4 barrel 2 spd auto car with beautiful color combo Gulfstream Aqua, black top and black interior. Other options inc GTO, console, soft ray glass, push button radio, dual speed wipers, luggage lamp, glove box lamp, power steering & brakes, electric clock and safe-t-track rear axle. The rear axle has been rebuilt with a new posi unit installed. Low miles and solid condition of this car can be attributed to its race history and inside storage. However the rear quarter skins have been trimmed and filled for clearance and may need replacing. Trunk floor is very solid with minor issues. Trunk floor drops offs most likely will need replacing. Solid rockers and passenger floor area. Very nice hood and trunk lid. Fenders and doors are solid with dents. I have a pair of OEM door skins that can be purchased if needed but are not included in this auction. This car is an extremely worthy candidate for restoration. I am including hard to find and valuable standard bore (see pics) 389 76X tripower 4spd engine long block and exhaust manifolds date code D134 with heads date code C254 & D104. I believe this engine has never been completely disassembled. I am selling with a bill of sale and clear open Indiana title in the name of last registered owner.
