1966 Pontiac GTO convertible project. As you can tell the car was stripped for restoration and never made it back together. I purchased the car from a former Pontiac dealer where it was stashed away in it's current state for years. This car was built in the 1st week of July, 1966. True GTO convertible. Original color was Fontaine blue with a blue top. Interior was Parchment colored vinyl. No engine or transmission. Was a 4 speed car, pedals and column are still there. 10 bolt posi rear. Many new and original parts included. Trunk lid, bumper, old exhaust, seals, convertible top parts, misc hardware, new quarter and trunk pans, etc. Hood from a Lemans is also included. Otherwise what you see is what you get. Unfortunately the building where the car was stored had a leaky roof so the car and parts do have surface rust from sitting. Floor pans are decent, passenger's footboard is a little bit soft and there are about 3 small pinholes where the rear seat bottom would go. Trunk floor will need to be completely replaced. Frame is nice aside of one spot on the driver's side, please see the pictures for more details. Someone also pulled on the rear crossmember to move it at some point so it will need to be straightened a little bit. Rockers and the remaining quarter are fairly solid however they will require a little bit of work to be perfect. The trans am wheels that are on the car are NOT included so you either will need to bring your own set or I have sets available for an additional fee. The car has a PA reissued vin plate, presumably due to the fact that it came from Alabama and they do not require titles for older vehicles while Pa requires them. Clean PA title, there will be an approximately 7 day title delay while I wait for it to come in the mail in my name.
