Car has been show once. It participated in the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) in November of 2015. It was judged in the "Day Two" class where it won a Gold Award. It was also chosen by Don Keefe, noted Pontiac writer and editor of Poncho Perfection, as his "Pick Award" from a field of 500 cars! It was also pictured in the March 2016 issue of Poncho Perfection.
It has less than 100 miles since the restoration was completed. While it has been reliable for the little it has been driven, further testing would be recommended before any long distance driving. The A/C system is intact and complete but not serviced or charged. The period correct "Day Two" Concord Am/FM cassette stereo is in dash, a correct Fosgate Amp is included, but not working or hooked up. A JL amp and Bluetooth system has been installed behind the dash, hooked to four Memphis speakers. Car hasreproduction Year One snowflake wheels, and reproduction Kelsey Tire Goodyear Flexton tires (all turbo cars had these tires installed in1978). The prior owner who started the restoration, installed a 1981 disc brake rear end with power brake booster. This is not what was originally installed in the car when it was delivered new, however, it was complete and left alone. The Hooker chrome roll bar and Recaro seats were also additions that were available in 1978 but not original to #202. Also included but not installed are an original wastegate, water injector and knock sensor.
The mileage shown on the odometer is approximately 22K. Please assume this is 122K miles!
