REVISED 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT V6 5 Speed Manual Well maintained
1988 Pontiac Fiero
Relisted due to non payer.
Obviously non paying Ebay user name 10carvin=JEFF Wilkinson Spring, Texas thinks it is funny to toy with disabled American Veterans who protect his sorry arz.
Being relisted at drastic price reduction to give someone a great deal and for us to expedite matters here as some of the funds from this sale is helping a disabled Veteran and time is of the essence, so please serious only meaning don't "accidentally" buy it if you are not paying for it as we cannot afford to lose time here. thank you.
REVISED:
Rear spoiler now on car but only in one picture as it was not on the car when the other pictures were made as it did not come with one. The present one could use some body work and repainting to get it perfect.
Also a spare front left fender, also pictured, is included to replace the one that has a crack in it.
Also picture is the ORIGINAL window sticker and manuals, and also receipts of work and maintenance done.
This is not a car that was crappy and cleaned up to look new, it was always maintained this way.
Well cared for, 1988 the most desirable year with the ws6 suspension and changes.
Very nice and incredibly clean car though I have not detailed the engine area.
v6 engine with factory Muncie 5 speed manual transmission that will hold up to the harshest of v8 engine swaps if you so choose, sunroof, new Alpine stereo and amp also with rear mounts andspeakers. The stereo/amp wires still need to be ran under the carpet out of sight.
Nice clean interior even looks great underneath, with approx. 96,000 miles, Red with gray fabric interior. There is a spot on the passenger seat.
Runs, drives and sounds great, everything works as it should.
Following info from Wikipedia: The 1988 Fiero brought a new suspension design, thought by many to have a striking resemblance to those designed by Lotus, which at the time, was about to be acquired by General Motors. The suspension was never a Lotus design though; it was the suspension the Pontiac engineers had designed in the beginning, along with what they learned from the racing program. Up front were revised control arms and knuckles that reduced steering effort and improved the scrub radius. In the back, real tri-link suspension with all new knuckles. This new suspension came with staggered wheel sizes on WS6 suspension equipped models, with 15in (380mm) by 6in (150mm) wide wheels up front and 15in (380mm) by 7in (180mm) wide wheels in the rear for improved handling balance and to offset the slightly increased front track that resulted from the improvements. Topping off the package were the new vented disc brakes at all four corners.
Runs and sounds great, shifts strong and smooth and clutch seems excellent and not sure ifthe clutch throwout bearing is making a little noise as it gets quieter when I push the clutch in (or not) but obviously not an issueperformance wise. These 1988 cars drive and handle incredibly.
Feel free to ask questions and to come and appreciate this car in person.
