1965 Pontiac Le Mans

THIS IS A 1965 PONTIAC LEMANS THAT WAS SITTING IN A BARN FOR ABOUT 15 YEARS. IT IS A ONE OWNER CAR,EXCEPT FOR I REGISTERED IT TO GET CLEAR PAPERS. IT HAS IT'S ORIGINAL 326 ENGINE AND POWERGLIDE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. ORIGINAL BUTTERNUT YELLOW WITH PARCHMENT INTERIOR. WE PUT IN A NEW GAS TANK,FUEL PUMP,BATTERY,AND TUNE-UP, AND IT RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. IT HAS POWER STEERING AND DRUM BRAKES. IT'S AN ORIGINAL BUCKET SEAT CAR. IT HAS ONLY 48,000 ORIGINAL MILES. THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT STARTING POINT FOR A RESTORATION OR GTO CLONE. IT'S VERY SOLID. THE FLOORS ARE EXCELLENT,WITH ONLY SURFACE RUST. THE TRUNK IS NICE, WITH ONLY A SMALL SPOT OR TWO THAT NEED A LITTLE REPAIR. IT STILL HAS IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT ON IT, SO NOTHING'S HIDING. THIS CAR CAN BE DRIVEN JUST THE WAY IT IS, AND RESTORE LATER,OR START WITH THIS SOLID ORIGINAL CAR FOR A RESTORATION OR RESTO-MOD. THE DOOR, TRUNK,AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE PERFECTLY WITH NO HANG, OR SCRAPING. ALL OF THE LOCKS AND WINDOWS WORK NICELY. THERE ARE A FEW SMALL AREAS OF LIGHT RUST AT THE LEADING EDGE OF THE HOOD AND TRUNK, AND SOME ON THE INSIDE OF THE FENDERS UNDER THE HOOD.I ONLY GOT AROUND TO CLEANING THE MOLD OFF OF ONE DOOR PANEL,WHICH CAME OUT GREAT. THE BODY SHOWS NO SIGNS OF EVER BEING HIT ORREPAIRED. I DON'T HAVE A PRICE IN MIND,AND I WOULD PREFER TO LET THE AUCTION RUN TO THE END. PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOUR ARE NOT A SERIOUS BUYER. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING THEIR OWN SHIPPING.
