Here is a sweet barn find from VA..... it has a clean VA title......1958 Pontiac Chieftain 4 door sedan. The body has some surface rust and a few small holes that need to be repaired. Th hood is rusty under the front edge, but does not hinder opening, closing or latching. The car comes with all the trim for the car (it is only missing a 2" piece that goes on the passenger rear door) that is in very nice condition. The trunk lid has some rust and some rust where the trunk latches on the tail light panel. There are two small holes in the floor ....one by each kick panel. THIS IS NOT A RUST BUCKET.
The car has the original 370 2 bl. engine & auto transmission. The engine looks clean. It DOES NOT RUN, but is not stuck. It has a new radiator & rebuilt generator....it has a 12 volt system. It has the correct hub caps.
The interior has been redone at some point & is very nice & older new in the box carpet (gray). The dash is complete & in good condition.....tube radio works (after it warms up). It sounds good. The car has the pull out tissue under dash holder : )
We also have a model J-2 tri power intake that goes with the car (for 1957-1958-had to be ordered on the
vehicle) with three older Carter 2 bl carbs (carbs will need to be rebuilt). The car has 50,686 original miles on it & title shows original miles.
Once again, THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN......it will need to be transported ona trailer.
A $500 nonrefundable deposit via PayPal is expected within 48 hours after end of auction....the balance is due in cash only at time of pickup at our location, within 7 days after auction ends.
