1965 Pontiac GTO

Here is a restored 1965 Pontiac LeMans/ GTO. The car is a clone, no PHS.Car went through a complete "body off" restoration. NO attempt was made to make this a numbers matching museum piece. This car was built to drive, show, and have fun, and it does all 3 very well. It's a DRIVER, NEVER been trailered. There is no fun sitting in a garage under a blanket! Car is built to look stock and competes in shows in "stock" category and so far has won 1st and 2nd places. It has a +0.30 455, 1966Tripower Forged pistons, resized rods w/arp, eagle crank, comp cams XE 274 cam, 2-1/2 in. ram air exhaust manifolds into 2-1/2 stainless exhaust. This engine pulls HARD! from idle to 5600+ rpm. 1966 GTOMuncie 4 speed with NEW internals, 355 rear gears in 65 GTO posi10 bolt. Suspension rubber and bodymounts replaced with polyurethane. Boxed upper and lowerrear control arms and HD springs. Has front disc brakes and stainless hard lines. Other options, factoryAM/FM, wood wheel, P/S, P/B, Power rear antenna, rally gauges, factory shifter with wood knob. Has A/C core support and 4 core radiator and runs a steady 180 degrees. Bumpers and diecast have been rechromed. Stainless has been polished.Interior upholstery is new PUI. Wheels are torq thrust 2. Items that are supposed to be plated are PLATED not painted. This car does not leak or overheat and starts every time.Car is a real head turner and a blast to drive. This car will be for sale locally so, I may end auction early. Questions? justask. thanks
