I want to start off by asking you to please call forhonest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet, ome by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not beimportant to a buyer. Thanks.
Also, lease read thepayment section carefully. Iwill not vary off of what isexplained there. Cashiers checks may have hold put on them by my bank. My bank will give me a letter of how long the hold will be. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. The length of hold depends on the bank that it is sent from. Some smaller banks cantake up to 10 business days. The car will not leave here until my banksays the check has cleared. No exceptions. That is why I like wire transfers and cash.
This is a super cool and rare Pontiac Ventura 4 door hard top / flat top. Most of these flat tops were Catalinas or Bonnevilles. The Venturas were on the shorter wheelbase like the Catalina but had the higher priced trim level of the Bonneville. These old flat tops are in big demand right now forcruising aroundthem in, nd for long road trips. When all of the sidewindows are down, t isalmostlike driving a convertible with a bimini top. Absolutely no blind spots anywhere. This car has always been garaged and only has 67342 original miles. Absolutely 100% rust free now and never, ver, ad any rust.
Driveline: This car has the optional high performance 2 barrel 389 V-8 and the optional 4 speed hydromatic automatic transmission. Both run out very well with no issues. The only item that is not factoryunder the hood is the change to an alternator from the generator.Power brakesand steering. No A/C. It has newer Coker reproduction bias plywide white wall tires all around. Brakes stop like new. It steers very easily. All new exhaust.
Body: The body has mostly original paint that is in very nice shape considering it's age. Still shines very well. There are some touched up rock chips, icks, amp; scratches as youshould expect for an all original car. The left front fender looks like it may have been repainted years ago. Very good match if it was. All weatherstripping is original and in very good shape. Glass is all in very good shape and the side windows roll upand down like new. Doors close like new.
Chrome and SS trim: All chromeandstainlesssteel trim is all in excellent condition. No pitting and no need for any money spent here unless you just want it shinier than italready is. The only drawback is bumper condition. The chromeis excellent, ut both have some small dents. The rear is the worst. Front hardly noticeable. Personally, don't think they are so bad to warrant a dent repair and re-chroming, ut you can decide. Even the chrome around the windows is pit free.
Interior: The interior is all original and is in excellent condition. Norips tears in the seats and the material is still very pliable. It has thetri-color scheme of the Bonnelvilles. All factorygauges work as they should, ncluding the "green" cold light. The radio plays like new with no static. Dash chrome and paint is inexcellent condition. Steering wheel has no cracks. ( real rarity ) The wipers work, ut sometimes they do not shut off. Not sure if it is the switch or a timing problem with the wiper motor / bladepositioning?I have it unplugged under the hood. All lights work including the back up lights. Carpet and headliner are very nice.
Underside and trunk: The underside has some minor surface rust but absolutely no rust holes anywhere. Same with the trunk and floor pans. The original trunk matand spare tire is still in the trunk area.
All in all, his is a super nice original car. It is one of the best original cars I have owned. Iwould not beafraid to drive this car anywhere or any distance.
I do have a 1960 factory Pontiactry-power intake in excellent shape for another $250.00 if you would want to consider running atri-power system, that wouldbe a very cool thing to do ) You could even just run the original carb in the center and run 2 dummy carbs on each end.
I know I am forgetting something here, o call forquestions and more details.
I have a clear Missouri title that is in my name and matches the VIN tag.

Cash is great if picking it up in person.
