Vehicle Details

To quote Chrysler, " As a member of an elite group you crave the finer things in life. You know, the beach in the spring. The strip. Miniskirts. Neat cars. Blood rare steaks. Things like that."This was the start of one of Chrysler's advertisements for the 1969 GTX. Seems a little dated today, but some of it is still relevant.....like the miniskirts!Anyway, selling a very nice 1969 Plymouth GTX in a seldom seen Q5-Seafoam Green exterior with a P6S-Pewter interior. I purchased this vehicle in 2017 after looking for the Q5 color for years. The X was purchased with its current paint job, engine/transmission/rearend done. She's not a trailer queen, but is very nice. Love watching observer's heads turn 360 degrees as we 'fly" by.Appears to be the matching number 440/375hp with full VIN stamp on the block. Runs strong with no smoke or sounds. Has what sounds to be a factory grind cam. Transmission, automatic torqueflite 727 # 2801543L2519, no stamping on the pad. I have wondered if this was a warranty transmission done with a wrong part number? Shifts and works great. Suregrip 8&;;3/4 with 3:23 gears which whines a little.Front suspension redone, new rear springs, brakes, front power disc kit added, etc, etc...Most everything that could be unbolted or unscrewed has been fixed, replaced, restored. You get the picture. It is NOT a rotisserie job, but again very nice. No build sheet, have some Galen documents from previous owner. Not 100% per fender tag. Vinyl top added, pinstripe should be white, black headliner and carpet replaced with aqua units, tach added, chrome factory valve covers, and a few other things. Now the weird issue! The radiator support and trunk rail are stamped 208009, not 108009. Asked Dave Wise @ MMC and their response was "probably a misstamp."She does have a few chips and a small dimple above the driver's side rear wheel opening where it appears someone threw a tennis ball or similar, see pics, but is hard to see. As of this typing everything on the car is working, but as we all know these beautiful beasts can turn on us at any time. Therefore the vehicle is sold "As-Is" with no warranties whatsoever. Please call/ask questions, inspections welcome. Shipping is on buyer. I love this car and it will not leave its garage until fully paid for. Escrow.com, EFT bank-bank, Cash. Title is in my safe deposit box at present. To summarize: this is a very nice car, but you could make it even better. I've redone most everything except paint/engine/trans/rear. No embarrassments at car shows. Well sorted, runs, drives, stops well. Please call with any questions. Jeff C. 509-280-1149 Can show in Spokane Valley, WA area. Phone is a land line. Last pic 69 Charger R/T in 1978, where it all started for me.
